ABOUT CHK

A company called Cliff® Plastic Products Ltd was founded in England in 1964 by Mr. Derek Souch and his business partner Mr. Albert 'Monty' Montague, to manufacture Ľ” jack sockets, jack plugs, terminal binding posts and plastic moulded parts.

The company ran until 2009, and experienced continual growth throughout these years, designing and manufacturing products to meet the increasing demands of the expanding musical instrument market in the UK.

The company's connectors were used by some of the most famous musical instrument equipment manufacturers throughout the past 45 years, including Marshall®, VO X®, Fender®, Hi-Watt®, Ampeg®, JBL®, Harman®, Dunlop® and QSC Audio®.

Mr Derek Souch is now a consultant for CHK, and we proudly continue his tradition, as being leading innovative designers and market leaders in this field. We service many of Derek's original clients, as well as a rapidly growing "new client" list.

We have our own manufacturing facilities in South East China which enables us to remain competitive in all areas of production. We have moulding machines of various sizes and insert moulding facilities. We also have stamping and auto lathe production of turned parts, with the facilities needed for the manual assembly of components.

CHK was established to manufacture and distribute high quality products, and also to represent complementary products from other manufacturers, throughout Asia, Europe and the USA

Technical Support

For all our products we can give expert advice on design, manufacturing methods and use of materials. Our qualified engineering personnel are able to provide a technical design service and work closely with customers to achieve the most effective solutions.

Designs are produced using the latest 3D CAD modeling software which aids the product design, visualization and enables rapid prototyping utilizing SLA, vacuum casting etc. Comprehensive product data and specification sheets are produced to assist customers to select precisely the right product for their particular design.

We have the facilities to offer customers the complete service from the initial design stage to full manufacture and we always aim to produce the most economic solutions.
